Dharampur State was a princely state in India during the time of the British Raj. Its last ruler acceded to the Union of India 10 June 1948. ==Geography== Dharampur State had an area of 1,823 km2〔 and fell under the Surat Agency of the Bombay Presidency.〔 It was located in Dharampur city in Gujarat state, India.〔(Dharampur )〕〔(Dharampur State )〕 Today Dharampur is a small, peaceful town with a royal heritage that has become a tourist destination. It is located on Waghai-Vansda Highway, with Waghai just 30km away. The town is on the banks of Swargavahini river at the foothills of the Sahyadri mountain range.
